Google AdWords Login Function Down

Post to Twitter Post to Facebook

What happens when one of the most popular new methods of advertising experiences site-related problems? Well, it doesn't take long for others to find out, that's for sure.

Such is the case with the Google Adwords service, which apparently would not let people log on this afternoon. According to Barry, when users tried to log on, an error occurred. Barry tested it out and found that this was the case. It was first noticed by a poster on the SearchEngineWatch forums, who said the received the error message at 12:25 EST.

As expected, once people started realizing this, they did not hesitate to inform others of their findings. Such is the beauty of the Internet's level of instant gratification and dissemination.

According to a Google AdWords representative who posts in some of the search-related forums, Google was indeed experiencing log in difficulty, but it has been corrected. If you are still experiencing problems, AdWordsRep suggested the following:rebooting, opening a fresh browser, and also a fresh login page (in other words, from adwords.google.com, rather than from a bookmarked page).

I hope that does the trick. Some folks also find that clearing their cache and cookies will help.

Definitely a problem like

Definitely a problem like this would circle the Internet very quicky, especially on forums. Just a few hours of issues can cause an advertiser big buck (ie. if he/she wanted to stop a campaign).
