As the Chinese government prepares to issue 3G licenses, a wide collection of industries watch anxiously.
According to Research And Markets, handset makers and providers of service, infrastructure, and content should keep an eye on China as it selects a technology standard for those 3G licenses.

One firm, China Digital Wireless, posted a 22% increase in revenue for the first quarter of the year. That company provides financial and entertainment options to wireless subscribers, in addition to being a distributer of mobile phones.
"China Digital Wireless remains committed to expanding co-marketing arrangements and increasing the subscriber base in order to grow its financial and entertainment information services revenue," said Mr. Tai Caihua, Chairman of China Digital Wireless.
