Walt Disney shareholders re-elected the company's board of directors by a margin of 92.2%.
Individual board members were not given tallies.
Walt Disney Co. Chairman George Mitchell assured stockholders that the company's board "is fully and actively engaged" in finding a successor for Chief Executive Officer Michael Eisner.
Mitchell's comments, which came during the company's annual meeting in Minneapolis, echoed what Mitchell told investors last week during an investor conference in Orlando.
"The board will engage in a thorough, careful and reasoned process," Mitchell said. "We will consider internal and external candidates. There has been no prior determination."
In true Disney fashion, attendees of the meeting were greeted by people dressed as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Mulan and Cinderella.
