The hits from CES keep on coming. With a slew of tech toy announcements upon us stemming from the Consumer Electronics Show, Kodak was not one to stay silent.
Yesterday, Kodak introduced its new EasyShare-One wireless, digital camera. According to numerous sources (USA Today, Reuters, et al), the camera is capable of taking 4 megapixel digital photos, while storing up to 1500 images on 256 MB of internal storage. A 3-inch touch screen is also included.
However, the point of emphasis on the EasyShare lies in its wireless ability. When the camera comes to retail in June, buyers will have the option of buying a $99 Wi-Fi card that will allow them to email images and wirelessly print pictures. Purchasers of Kodak's card will also be able to send pictures to the company's Ofoto online photo service.
From here, users will be able to print, store, and view stored images. The camera is expected to retail for $599, making the total cost, Wi-Fi capability included, around $600. To learn more, visit Kodak's EasyShare-One site.
