Looksmart CEO at Search Engine Strategies

Looksmart CEO David Hills will participate in a panel at the Search Engine Strategies 2004 Conference & Expo session - Search Ads Beyond Google & Overture.

Cost-per-click advertising has become a multi-billion dollar market, with sales from advertiser-paid search results expected to grow 25 percent this year. Major networks operated by search leaders such as Overture and Google have become household names in the search engine advertising industry. But this success has led to a rise in complaints from advertisers regarding inflated auction prices, increasing fraud, and poor customer service.

This panel will evaluate the opportunity provided by paid search services, such as LookSmart, FindWhat, and others, that have arisen to address these issues.

The panel will also offer feedback via an extended Q & A period where attendees will be given tips and tools for allocating marketing budget to search-engine advertising programs beyond Google and Overture.

The session will take place Thursday, December 16 - 9:00 a.m.
