A 22 year-old from London, England has made life a little difficult for computer company Apple. In an effort to secure the rights to the .co.uk address for iTunes, Apple has discovered that Benjamin Cohen registered the domain "itunes.co.uk" in 2000, and has no desire to relinquish it.
According to Reuters, Benjamin joined the Internet Millionaires club when he was 17. He said that he doesn't intend to give up the rights to the iTunes domain without a fight. Benjamin told Reuters, "They have issued legal proceedings to gain control of (the iTunes domain), but we registered it fairly and squarely, and we don't feel we've done anything wrong. We're not going to back down."
Apple applied for the trademark in October of 2000, but Benjamin stated the application wasn't made public until December. He registered the domain in November of 2000. Currently, Apple has no comment about the situation.
