Oracle will kick off Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco with an exclusive partner symposium, the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Forum.

The forum, held Sunday, December 5 at Moscone Center, will bring together Oracle and its technology and application solutions partners to discuss business opportunities and advances in the Oracle PartnerNetwork program

Following the OPN Forum, Oracle will host the North America OPN Partner of the Year and Solutions of the Year Awards at the Marriott Hotel. Partners across multiple channel types will be recognized for their success in developing and implementing solutions based on Oracle Technology and the Oracle E-Business Suite, as well as for marketing and sales achievements.

This year, for the first time, Oracle has opened up the judging for these awards to outside experts from the media and analyst communities who assessed the entries and selected winners in each category. CMP Media and IDC joined a panel of Oracle Technical, Partner Marketing and Channel Sales executives to select this year's winners.
