Search engine/portal Lycos has removed their MakeLoveNotSpam.com site, replacing it with a graphic that reads "STAY TUNED". Lycos has also removed references and links to MLNS from their homepage.
The site, which was launched earlier this week, contained a downloadable screensaver that targeted known spammers' websites with a DOS attack. The reason for Lycos' removal focuses on spammers redirecting the attack back to MakeLoveNotSpam.com.
According to The Register.com, Lycos has also moved the site to another IP address. Again, this is attributed to the reverse DOS attack.
