AdMission Directories To Be Released Tomorrow
At NEXPO 2004 IPIX gave a first look at their AdMission Directory product, saying that it would be commercially available in mid-July. That time has come and IPIX AdMission is set to unveil a tool that will allow businesses to design and deploy ads for online yellow pages and directories. The launch date is July 20, 2004.
The tool is template-based, which makes it easy to create photo enhanced ads and graphics. Clients are provided with numerous features they can use to drag and drop into their ads. Each advertisement listing has specific tabs for contact information, coupons and general information about the specific business.
Small businesses (SMEs) will be able to design and place their own ads using the self-service module. The fee model for AdMission Directories will be either subscription or pay-per-click (PPC).
AdMission Directories is looking to find clients within the key search engines and directories. Companies such as Google, Yahoo and Microsoft are relentlessly looking for effective strategies and technologies to compete with offline Yellow Pages and newspaper classifieds. Online companies such as yellow pages are in a great position to take full advantage of the high-income local search market, which is expected to reach $2.5 billion in the U.S. by 2008 according to ClickZ.
AdMission Directories is a tool based on the AdMission platform, which also runs AdMission Classifieds, a tool for online classified ads. That tool was released back in June.
