Post to Twitter Post to Facebook

Touting itself as the European Union International Search Engine and Directory, Ezilon.com has launched its search presence. Ezilon promises to offer targeted search services, based on geographic location.

Ezilon is founded on the principle that limited searches to geographic regions will return more relevant results to users. Not only does Ezilon offer search services targeting the EU, the also have regional searches for the US and Canada, UK and Ireland, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Charles Michael of Ezilon.com says, "There's no need to thrust a bunch of meaningless information at visitors with each search. People today are usually pressed in a hurry, and don't have time to dig through the superfluous information that comes with each search. Ezilon.com focuses on quality rather than quantity, enabling visitors to find exactly what they are looking for in a timely manner."

Essentially, Ezilon serves has a local search engine, although, instead of limiting itself to cities and towns, Ezilon concentrates on specific geographic areas. The search engine also offers classified ads, popular links, headline news and a "What's Cool" section that provides links to websites that contain unique, interesting and relevant content.
