AskJeeves, which uses the Teoma database for its reults, now has PDF files showing up in their SERPs. Pages that are in PDF format have text [PDF File] next to the listing to differentiate from regular html documents.
On Teoma, PDF files show up with green text, while AskJeeves presents PDF results with red text. An unfortunate exclusion is that you cannot only search for PDF files using either engine. The closest you can get to searching for only PDFs is to use inurl:pdf in the search string.
Thanks to ResourceShelf for the heads up.
