Today, Yahoo launched Yahoo Autos offering consumers a new way to search for comprehensive automotive content online. The site was designed based on consumer and advertiser input.
Yahoo Autos features a new and used car search, car comparisons and expert reviews, among other features. Yahoo Auto is integrated with Yahoo Search and Yahoo Shopping's Product Search, helping consumers find automotive-related content across the Yahoo network.
Andrew Braccia, vice president and general manager for Yahoo Autos, states, "today's enhancements help us deliver the highest quality automotive buying, selling and research experience on the Internet. Our research helped guide us to create a more comprehensive and easy-to-use automotive destination for consumers and marketers alike."
With more than 2/3rds of automobiles purchased being researched on the Internet, the demand for a comprehensive vehicle search is obvious. Yahoo Autos will also be providing ad space to potential advertisers.
