Site Review: OLLIonline.tv

OLLIonline.tv is both a television series and an online Web community for retirees and home-bound seniors interested in continuing their education; this is a program put together by California State University Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles, under a grant from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. The site has officially launched, and we expect the bulk of our hits to come after the first class airdate on September 8th.

We would love to have the WebProNews community review the site and let us know in what areas we can improve and make the site more "senior-friendly" while maintaining the technical functionality required for media playback. More specifically, we would like to get your feedback in the following areas:

Send in your review!

- Navigation, Layout and Ease of Use: Is the current navigation straight-forward? Do you have suggestions for a more appealing or user-friendly interface?

- Media Presentation: The campus currently provides only the Windows Media Player format for its video broadcast archives... Are we hindering audience participation, or is this an adequate/acceptable format to offer?

- Theme/Look and Feel: The site is graphically themed to synch with matching print materials... As with navigation/layout, do you have suggestions for a better / more tidy look? What is the first impression you get when you review the site? Does the current look support or take away from the importance of the site's content and purpose?

Any and all advice, criticism and encouragement, is greatly appreciated!
