I have to admit Eric Aafedt is a pretty intimidating guy. No, he's not built like Arnold nor does he look like one of those "biker" types.
But he has become one of the most successful newsletter publishers on the web. He offers his 130,000 subscribers a compelling combination of free and paid newsletters generating over $2 million each year in revenue. (Yes, that's a two with six zeros.)
Eric started out with a site called CoveredCall.com. This site provides its visitors with all the information they need to complete business transactions known to investors as "covered calls". CoveredCall.com provides the background research necessary for these very specialized investments, saving investors hours of tedious research.
In partnership with a college aquaintance, he created The Stock Split Report to report on stocks that are likely to announce a split (where the value of an individual stock is so high, the company "splits" the value in two and gives each investor twice as much stock.) Since a stock's value normally goes up significantly when it splits, The Stock Split Report became another valuable resource for investors.
Not long after, Eric started TechnicalTraders.com.
InvestmentHouse.com was a way to tie them all together.
In his first year, Eric grossed about $80,000 in sales, within two years that figure had climbed to over $2 million.

Here are some keys to Eric's success:
1. Eric uses paid advertising.
Eric uses very carefully chosen paid advertising to get more and more subscribers to his free newsletters. He targets his ads to produce a 100% cash return within one day and another 200-300% return in the first few months.
2. Eric targets a great niche market.
The niche Eric dominates is not only underserved, it is populated by people with money. The combination makes for a very profitable newsletter.
3. Eric automates everything possible.
One of the most fascinating aspects of Eric's sites is his automation. Rather than paste up articles by hand, then send them to the subscribers, the articles are automatically pasted up and sent as soon as the contributing editor writes them. This type of automation allows him to keep costs low.
4. Eric offers a variety of products.
Rather than having one "catch all" newsletter, Eric puts out a number of newsletters and combination of products to allow each subscriber to pay only for those items he is interested in. This not only increases subscriber loyalty, it allows one subscriber to purchase a number of different products, increasing the profit per subscriber.
5. Eric tracks everything.
Eric has automated ad tracking and opt-in tracking allowing him to identify the ads which produce the best total dollar income. This tracking allows him to better purchase advertising as well as promote the best offers to the best prospective subscribers.
These are just a few of the keys Eric uses to pull in over $2 million dollars in sales each year. To find out more, go to:

Kevin Bidwell Scam
I've subscribed to Kevin Bidwell's course in Feb07 and was scammed $197 plus another $47 unauthorised debit!!
The product i bought was to learn to make money using blogs with ongoing training. The first couple of weeks things were running fine, then Kevin seems to have disappeared early March!! No training, no contact whatsoever!!
My credit card was then charged early April by him for $47, which i didn't authorise!!
Many emails were sent and no reply about what the $47 charge was for nor honoring moneyback guarantee. His operation is a total scam!!

Another Scam
I, along with nearly 20 other individuals, paid over $2000 for 6 months of personal web-based training along with materials from Kevin Bidwell. Kevin cancelled one training, but did hold a couple of others. They were very well prepared and he did seem quite knowledgeable. However, in November, 2006, his wife emailed all of us and said Kevin had a nervous breakdown. It would take around 60 days before our monies would be refunded (that was the guarantee). I have called, emailed, contacted his business phone, and no response. Several other people in the "club" have also attempted to contact him, but to no avail.
I would be more sympathetic if he had just remained in contact and kept us apprised of what was happening. No contact, no money, and many broken promises. Here was a guy who genuinely seemed to embrace good business practices and a conscience, but after this treatment, I am more than saddened. Yes, it's a loss of money, but more important, it adds to my (and other people's) cynicism and distrust of people in general. This, to me, is the greater damage.
Where is he?
I also am wondering where Kevin is. After long searching, this is the first site which has mentioned it at all. I knew his blogs were down and then I discovered today that all-in-one-business.com had also disappeared. I was enrolled in the fast start club and the blogging club but got no notice of a nervous breakdown in 2006. In fact, I had classes well into 2007. Then...nothing. I trusted Kevin but am now questioning the placement of that trust. Whatever personal problems one is having, if you are in business there is an obligation to spread the word to your clients--even if it communicates nothing more than "He's still here and will be back." Does he have no "organization" to take over for him? I'm puzzled by the complete lack of information but, at the same time, the clockwork arrangement of debits to credit cards. I did get one credit, however. If anyone out there can speak for Kevin, can you email those on his list and explain....!!
Does Anyone Know Where He Is?
I started IM back in 2003 after a course with him. Now I've lost over $200 for his blog course.
No response to emails, phones are disconnected.
Ditto
I got screwed too. Don't ever buy from Kevin, he is a scam artist
Ripped off by Kevin Bidwell
And I'm another who signed up and paid $2,500 for a year of 'mentoring' by Kevin in his so-called $10 Million Dollar Club (He must be the only one who's made $10MDC - as far as I can see those who signed up got ripped off!) Same story as the others - apart from a promise from his wife that we would all have our money refunded, there has been a resounding silence. LIke others, what I find hardest to stomach is the way he ignores all phone calls, emails, etc asking what is happening. What's worse, two men who apparently bought out his business All-In-One-Business send out a heap of enthusiastic emails about what they're going to do for Kevin's old customers... but they, too, remain silent when asked if they're going to honour his commitment to the poor saps who paid thousands of dollars to his $10MD program. (Jerry and Scott of Night Owl Marketing - if they can't be bothered replying to those of us who got ripped off, I don't see how they can be trusted to deliver on anything else either.)
If anyone has any suggestions about what we can do to get our money back, I'd love to hear them.
Planned Fraud
I'm sure that Kevin Bidwell planned his scam with a purpose!!
You joined Late 2006 and i joined Feb07 with another product. If Kevin Bidwell really had health problems then why he started a new course in Feb07?
It's also a lie that it would take 60days for a refund!! He can refund you on the spot!!
Contact your bank immediately. You may still get a chance.
BTW, his blog site for the training is now unaccessible(suspended for violation for terms and services by Wordpress)
Good luck getting your money back!!
