A hired candidate is a recruitment success. A position needed to be filled and you filled it, presumably with a hard-working and talented individual who has the skills you require. You know why you chose them - but do you know why they chose you?
Conduct post-hire interviews with every new employee you bring on your board. Ask them questions such as:
* What attracted you to us?
* At what point did you decide to accept our offer?
* Why did you accept our offer?
* How could we make it easier for others to join our team?
A hire is a success but it's not the end of the story. Learn from the success, and build on it, to take your recruitment program to new heights.
