Can I get free Internet access for Linux?

Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate a major free ISP that supports Linux. Freewwweb used to be supported by almost all operating systems because it operated without the need for software, but they recently merged with Juno which does not support Linux at this time. Netzero is working on a Linux version as per a recent announcement, but it might not be ready for some time.

We all hope that free internet access for Linux becomes available very soon. I am sure that with the recent explosion in the popularity of Linux as an operating system alternative, that free internet access support for this platform is just around the corner.

Until then, I suggest that you bookmark a couple good free internet access resources and check them often for updates. Free internet access resources such as 1st-Free-ISP.com and the Desktop-Publishers Free Internet Access Guide are two good places to start.
