I find it hard sometimes to eat my own words. While I program, write web pages, maintain a web site and cellular phone sites, I rarely have time to advertise my web pages. What I'm going to tell you I know works, when I use it.

My message to you is... advertise. It is said that you must advertise every day. I believe it. The weeks that I advertise consistently, I reap great rewards.

If you haven't guessed, my favorite advertising is free. I'm going to show you some of the free advertising I've used and I'm still using today.

There are several forms not all are listed because of my preferences and length of this artilce. You may find that some of what I offer may not be to your liking. Please bare with me.

1. Banners

To be seen, the best place to put banners are the top of your page, but if your conscious of your web page placement, you will place the banner elsewhere. A couple of free banner placement services are:

2. Links Exchanges

Link exchanges are tedious, time consuming chores, but are worth while in the fact that your link will stay on a page for as long as the exchangees link stays on your page.

3. Ezine Ads

Ezines are a very good way to get your ads out to hundreds of people at a time. Ezines that give free advertising generally require you to subscribe to them.

4. Opt In Email

This is another great way to get your ad out to the world. Most require that you accept ads in return for sending them. You may want to find a web based email address to receive these ads like the one at at http://pagecrafters.net/. Always remember to empty your mail box periodic to avoid bouncing.

There are several other method of free advertising, but I would have a very long article. This may give me another chance at writing one again later, but let me add one more item.

5. Business Cards

I have found a couple of companies that give away free business cards. I did have to pay for shipping, but if you order them the slowest way possible, you can spend less than $5.00 for 350 cards.
