  1. I have been busy trying to keep up with all the tips provided, but some how a sites with no PR have pushed me from 1st spot to 3rd page for my prefered search phase. ‘House extension plans’ perhaps this is a result of the real time search technology being introduced to Google.

If its down to relevancy, well I think I have ticked that box, so it could only be inbound links that seem to get to the top positions.
I will keep on tweaking and fixing as my web page is my main source of advertising.

    Thanks for the articles.

  2. Great article. The impact of real-time search seems to be steam roller ahead. We have seen a lot of our blog posts appearing in Google’s search results within minutes which shows that the opportunity is there if you write well and add timely content.

  3. I have never twittered, I and don’t know anyone who has. I must move in the wrong circles obviously.

    • Although my site is very hyper-niche, July I’ve been able to drive approximately 5,000 visits to my actual website that deals with Air Jordans since July. Twitter is amazingly simple, and allows small business owners to connect and network with thousands and thousands of potential clients.

  6. its great .

This is especially important for real time shopping search.

  7. I enjoy reading your articles, they are always informative and useful. I have gained some valuable insights for marketing my online gift store and affiliate marketing. Joining in the conversation has become very difficult on twitter, as most of the posts are links and rarely any real conversation.

I would love to have more conversation with my followers in hopes of learning about my niche and how I can improve my store for my customers. There are so many marketing posts that I am not finding it very easy to discuss business ideas for my gift store or where to join in the conversation. Keep on writing your wonderful articles they are great. Perhaps some advice on this issue would be good for your readers.

  10. Lots of interesting topics on your site especially loved the question in relation to google ranking links from the social links, good to know that facebook, twitter etc. are interpreted the same as the rest of them. What I need badly now is how to get your traffic to convert and how to find buying traffic…. I will keep an eye on your site to see what you have for us all on that subject. Thank you for the information regarding visibility – I’m curious, having a multilingual website, towit, pages targeted to the French and Anglophone wine makers, and to the Chinese visiteurs, does Google treat individual pages in research even though my website is targeted to Europe? I would like to know that the Chinese searcher is finding the webpages for them in their searches. Any advice or ideas would be great.

good article with great tips for success. In real time, you could consider the page rank to be measured in readers. Post frequently and spark interest in your subjects to drive more people to your content.

We post mainly about our own product updates, current sales and new releases and while we don’t have a large following yet, we have seen an increase in web site sales as a result.
