[ Life]

Tim Tebow is only 26-years-old and has already had an amazing career.

Not only was he the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner and the first-round pick of the NFL in 2010, he is also now the co-host of the SEC Network’s two-hour game day show called SEC Nation.

Tebow spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons in Denver and 2012 with the New York Jets. However, his NFL dreams were temporarily crushed when he was cut from the Patriots last year.

Last week, Tim traveled to Nashville to promote the new game show, and while he was there he talked to The Tennessean about wanting to return to play in the NFL if a team would have him.

“I’m training every day and feel like I’m the best that I’ve ever been,” Tebow said. “I still love it, love playing, talking about it, and I’m just excited about whatever the future holds. Who knows what could happen? But I’m excited about it, though.”

SEC Nation will launch on August 14, 2014, and will air on each Saturday from 10:00 am until noon. The hosts will travel to the cities where the top games are being played. Their first stop will be in Nashville on September 6 for the Vanderbilt-Ole Miss game that will be played at the LP Field. Kickoff will be at 3:30 pm, and ESPN will be broadcasting the game.

“I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity,” Tebow said about his new position. “When I was 6 years old, I fell in love with the game of football, and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC.”
