J.J. Watt is not just an NFL star; he is a fanboy, too. The defensive end for the Houston Texans may have met actor Mario Lopez, who portrayed A.C. Slater on the sitcom Saved by the Bell at NRG Stadium on Sunday, but the NFL star missed Bayside High’s cheerleader.

Lopez, who played quarterback of the Bayside Tigers in the popular sitcom, visited the Texans during Sunday’s game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where Watt’s team won with a 19-9 score.

Bayside must have had a BYE this week. #SavedByTheBell #ACSlater #WhereIsKellyKapowski

Watt took to Twitter and posted a photo of him with Lopez, referencing the ‘90s hit sitcom with the hashtags #SavedBytheBell #ACSlater and #WhereIsKellyKapowski. It looks like Tiffani Thiessen, the actress who played Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell, is one of Watt’s celebrity fans as the actress quickly responded to his tweet on Sunday with an Instagram photo of herself holding a copy of Men’s Health magazine, which featured Watt on the cover.   Thiessen, who starred alongside Lopez on Saved by the Bell, which aired more than 20 years ago, wrote, "@justinjames99 I heard you were looking for me. I'm in LA catching up on my reading. Btw, good game today” with the hashtag #houstonismysecondhome."

Watt was obviously happy that Kelly Kapowski responded to his hashtag #WhereIsKellyKapowski. Being the fanboy that he is, Watt tweeted the This. Is. Awesome. #MindBlown.

Thiessen is happily married and it looks like Watt, recently expressed a bit of sadness for not finding a girlfriend. However, he found another reason to be happy as he also got a chance to meet Friends star Jennifer Aniston, another lifelong crush of his.

The Houston Texans defensive end was the runner-up for NFL MVP honors in 2014, and he has so much to be thankful for because he renewed his $100 million contract for the next season.
