‘The Walking Dead: Season 2′ is Coming to PC on December 17By: Sean Patterson - December 6, 2013
The sequel to one of the most critically-acclaimed games of 2012 will be released in less that two weeks. More specifically, the second “season” of Telltale’s The Walking Dead adventure game will be released for PC on December 17.
Though Telltale hasn’t officially announced the release date, the game is now listed on Steam with the new release date.
Just like the first season, Telltale will be releasing season 2 in episodic form. Players will have to make crucial decisions that could affect the outcome of various chapters and the entire game. Choices players have made in the past will also be important, with events in the first season and the 400 Days DLC affecting season 2.
Season 2 of The Walking Dead will pick up where the previous season left off, just a few months after the first game’s final episode.. Players will take on the role of Clementine, the young girl who survived the first season with the help of Lee Everett and other survivors. In the months since the first season, Clementine has learned to fend for herself in the hostile world inspired by The Walking Dead comics.
No further plot details have been revealed, though a new image released this week teased that character Omid would appear in season 2 along with Clementine:
