The Steam Summer Sale Is Here; Steam Currently Getting Crushed

The reason for the “Christmas in July” feeling is, quite simply, because it has begun. That’s right, the Steam Summer Sale is upon us and if you haven’t had a chance to bask in the glow of the cheap digital distribution of some amazing games, you’re only cheating yourself.     It should be noted, however, thanks in large part to Reddit’s adoration with all things Steam, the popularity of the Steam Summer Sale is pretty high, and because of that, the actual service is getting hammered at the moment as gamers from all over log on in an effort to get their cheap games. In fact, while trying to procure Bioshock Infinite, I was greeted with the following screen every time I tried to add it to my cart:
