  • Well, The Killing is now officially over, as Netflix just released the final season. As soon as you can get through six episodes of the show, which shouldn’t take long for fans, it’s time to call it a day.

The show was promising when AMC first put it out, but people seemed to lose interest as it went on. Netflix was good enough to bring it back to give it a proper conclusion, so fans can an enjoy a complete series on its service (okay, yeah, there’s value in that for the company too).

“It all comes down to this: the fourth and final season of the critically acclaimed crime thriller is a six-episode Netflix original that wraps up loose ends and reveals long-buried secrets,” Netflix says. “Detectives Linden and Holder return to investigate a gruesome mass slaying that exposes a dark family history, while trying to cover up a crime they committed.”

    Here’s the trailer:

The episode titles are: Blood in the Water, Unraveling, The Good Soldier, Dream Baby Dream, Truth Asunder, and Eden.

Earlier this week, Netflix shared this behind-the-scenes look at the season.
