  • Terry Bradshaw has put his ranch near Dallas on the market.

The former quarterback and broadcast superstar is ready to downsize, said one of his brokers.

Co-broker Angie Nelson, vice president of the ranch and land division for Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in Dallas, said of the property, “We’ve already had a lot of activity on it. We’re getting people out of Dallas because of the proximity. It’s only an hour north of Dallas. We’re getting people out of Oklahoma City.”

Not just anyone can come look out of curiousity. Shoppers must be prequalified for the $10.8 million price tag to even get a showing.

Nelson said that Terry Bradshaw bought the property about 14 years ago, and it was pretty much empty.

“He built this from the ground up. I mean, this was just a bunch of barb wire fencing. He just wanted it as a weekend getaway and then ended up moving up here,” Nelson said of the home.

That hefty price buys a lot of house. It has 8,600 sq. ft. including six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The main house also has an outdoor living space that has a kitchen, fire pit and bar.

There are also two other houses on Terry Bradshaw’s ranch.

“Plenty of homes out here for their in-laws and outlaws and everybody else,” Nelson said.

If you want to live near Dallas and have tons of livestock (and $10 million), this could be your dream home.

There are a total of 744 acres with 74 stalls for horses, an arena, and even offices. Not to mention dozens of man-made lakes and ponds.

Sounds amazing. What do you think? If you had $10.8 Million, would you buy a place like Terry Bradshaw’s ranch?
