  • Taylor Swift is country music’s “it girl” and seemingly making her way around to each genre. She’s collaborated with tons of big names in the music industry (spanning genres mind you) from guitarist, John Mayer to the “You’re So Vain,” Carly Simon. And recently on her, “Red” tour, the country superstar has been pulling out all the stops, surprising audiences with guest treats.

But last night at the Staple Center in Los Angeles, the sensational Swift did it again, rocking out at her concert and giving her energetically, eager audience a little something extra to scream about.

“We have a wonderful, incredible, insanely talented, incredibly cool artist about to come out on stage to sing for you,” Taylor teased. “She’s not from around here. She’s actually from the U.K.,” said Swift before the English star appeared at the top of a large staircase with a blown up picture of her lit up on the screen directly behind her.

The Staples Center went absolutely wild, surely booming with hopeful anticipation that the hit song that’s ventured it’s way to nearly every commercial and radio station would boom from the lips of Ellie Goulding.

Sure enough, “Anything Could Happen” was the chosen song. Goulding started with the first chorus while Swift followed with the second. Swift was beaming with “fan girl” enthusiasm as her slender arm draped happily over Goulding’s shoulder. Swift then instantly flipped on more of her stage charm, beaming with confidence as she shook her hips from side to side with the beat of the song.

Apparently both parties had a ball performing last night, because Goulding Instagrammed a photo of her and Swift’s performance with the caption, “So.much.fun. Love that girl.
