Twitter is of course in the process of rolling out a new retweet feature. The feature adds a retweet button to each tweet on your timeline, much like the "reply" button that has always been there. However, one distinct difference between these two buttons is that where the reply button fills out your form with the proper information ("@username"), the retweet button sends the initial tweet to your followers' timelines without giving you your own tweet.

Back in the summer, Twitter announced that it was working on an API to give developers the ability to geotag tweets. The company has now made that available.
There is no geotagging on Twitter.com yet, but Twitter apps will now be able to support it. So potentially, you will be able to geotag tweets and show the location from where you tweeted.
There's a lot of change going on with Twitter these days. Recently we got the highly-anticipated Lists feature, which helped us to organize our streams and discover new, interesting people to follow.
Update 3: Twitter is now telling me that I am part of a beta test group for the retweet features, so I guess it is no longer on hold.

Fortune 100 companies don't quite know what to do with Twitter, according to a new report. Public relations firm Weber Shandwick instead painted a picture of big corporations just staking out their territory and then occasionally issuing the 140-character equivalents of press releases.
Most companies try to improve themselves over time. Twitter, unfortunately, hasn't managed to do so. A downtime report from CheckMySite indicates that Twitter's still suffering problems on a regular basis, and that it hasn't done well at all in comparison to Facebook and MySpace.
If you use Twitter or create content, you have probably figured out by now that it can be a great tool for driving traffic to your site. There are measures you can take to expand this if your content is not bringing in the Twitter traffic on its own.

Corporate Twitter accounts are still on the way, and should be introduced by the end of this year, according to cofounder Biz Stone. Stone chatted a little more about these accounts - along with the company's problematic growth rate - while on a NESTA panel in London.
Yahoo Search is now including a new Twitter feature in search results for select topics that are in the news. For example, if you search for "health care reform," or "obama," you will get a section for news results, which contains tabs for news, photos, videos, and Twitter.
