Earlier this year, Vicki found out that her longtime on again, off again boyfriend, Brooks, has cancer. She expected her costars to be there for her. While she said that all of them offered their support, she also said that Barney did not.

“Never heard from [Tamra Barney]… Interesting,” Gunvalson told Us Weekly. “You know what, you really find out who your true friends are when things like this happen.”

Barney’s friend didn’t like Gunvalson’s comment and has accused her of lying.

“[Tamra Barney] has texted Vicki numerous times,” the source told Radar Online. “Vicki is doing this for two reasons. One is that she still has animosity from last season,” and the second reason was because Gunvalson “is desperately seeking a storyline for this upcoming season.”

“By planting the seeds that Tamra has not reached out, she can already go into filming ready to go with a controversial storyline that will be sure to bring the drama,” the source added.

The source also said that Tamra has reached out to Vicki over and over again and that Vicki has not returned the gesture.

“Why should Tamra continue to reach out after how mean Vicki was to her last season while she was going through the worst time in her life?” asked the source. “The fact that Tamra reached out at all speaks volumes about her character.”

Tamra has accused Vicki of being a bad friend in the past, and the drama with Vicki is expected to continue on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 next year.
