For Yahoo Sports, they’ve added related search suggestions (i.e. things that are related to your search keyword, like rival teams, popular athletes, etc.), filters and enhanced results pages for images and videos, popular sports search topics, and new rich results with shortcuts that showcase the most useful information from what the company calls the "Web of Things" for key sports categories and sports-related news results.

In Yahoo News, they’ve added all kinds of new things to search results pages, including a filtering tool for specific news sources, time-based filtering, related news search suggestions, scrollable image results, and rich shortcuts for relevant, timely tweets and key news topics. These are available in 12 countries.

Chad Johnson, a wide receiver with the Cincinnati Bengals, known for his over the top end zone antics is asking fans to share their best touchdown dance moves.

Users can submit up to 30 seconds of video until August 20, 2007. A Yahoo Sports committee will choose the top five videos as finalists. After the finalists are selected, users can vote online for what they think is the best video from August 22,2007 until September 4, 2007. The winner of Chad Johnson’s Touchdown Celebration Showdown will be announced on September 6, 2007.

Features of the new version include real time game data such as player stats, inning information and who’s at bat. Also there is a scoreboard feature that allows user to keep track of what’s happening around the league.
