Google's Website Optimizer works, and the company really, really wants you to know it.  The winners of the Google Website Workout contest - which challenged businesses to use the tool and improve their conversion rates - have been announced in just about every place possible, giving both them and Website Optimizer all sorts of publicity.

According to the Google Press Center, Google has announced the launch of the 'Website Workout Contest' at the SMX Advanced Conference in Seattle, Washington. This contest has been devised to help Webmasters who are looking to make their websites more efficient and thereby give a boost to their businesses. This contest is confined to the United States only.
