I think that a variety of games, not just from Capcom, could benefit from a little Funke.

Everyone’s favorite smartphone murderer, ratedrr, has put Nokia’s flagship smartphones to the test in a head-to-head competition to see if either can survive being shot with a AK47. As expected, both phones don’t survive.

Pearl Cantrell is 105-years-old and she really loves bacon. In fact, she eats bacon for every meal. She is also a bacon ambassador among her family and friends encouraging them all to enjoy pork-based meat.

It seems that her love for bacon caught the attention of Oscar Mayer. The company decided to take Cantrell’s love of meat to the next level by giving her what every bacon-loving child has ever wanted – a ride in the fabled Wienermobile. She was driven around town in the vehicle while waving to everybody.

A ride in the Wienermobile wasn’t the only thing Cantrell received though. Oscar Mayer also gave her plenty of bacon so she could continue spreading the bacon gospel throughout her hometown of Richland Springs, Texas.

After the events of the day, Cantrell says that she “will never, ever forget it, as long as I live.” Here’s hoping she lives for many more years so she can continue preaching the joys of bacon.

Besides the hilariously animated zombies, NMA might be onto something here. A spin-off Web series that explores previously unknown characters in The Walking Dead universe could potentially be a hit. It would also be a good way to keep people interested in the franchise in between seasons since the latest game was pretty much a disaster.

But with the help of their ad agency, New York’s BBDO, Lowe’s has embraced the new 6-second video medium in a totally unique way. The home improvement chain has turned the short videos into fast-paced but informative how-to videos concerning everything from removing a stripped screw with the help of a rubber band, to cleaning your rusty knives in a lemon juice bath.

“Historically the category can be thought of as incredibly complicated. We sell products but those products are components to a project, and a consumer needs all the information on how to complete the project,” Tom Lamb, CMO at Lowe’s told AdAge. “What consumer behavior is forcing us to do is learn to be incredibly concise. We’re making an effort to demonstrate that we know a little bit, so [consumers think] it’s worth seeing what else we know on our site and in store.”

Not only are they well-executed and informative, but it’s a great way to not only provide an actual service, but to promote the brand and make something worth sharing too.

Sony is obviously hoping to dispel some of the mystery with a new video series – “Conversations with Creators.” The debut episode pulls aside the development team of Watch Dogs to talk about how the team at Ubisoft is bringing the game to the PS4.

The gameplay on show is nothing new, but it’s interesting to see how Ubisoft is working closely with Sony to make Watch Dogs extra special on the PS4. Part of that is accomplished thanks to the Share button, which the developers shower mountains of love on.

Despite the focus on the PS4, Watch Dogs is also being developed for pretty much every other HD platform under the sun. Ubisoft says the game will be out on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and the next Xbox later this year.

Google Glass Explorer Joseph Lallouz might have answered that very question this week when he wore Glass to his hockey game. What follows is six minutes of first-person hockey that feels all too real and incredibly immersive.

Now, Glass has no chance of replacing traditional sports broadcasting, but it would be an incredible compliment. Just imagine a broadcast of a football game switching to a live feed from the players as the game starts. Even better, people watching the game could switch between players to get whatever view they desire.

Google Glass has a lot of potential, but the controlled demos from Google haven’t really sold me on Glass entirely. Watching a hockey game from the perspective of a player has.

The rope, dismayed, walks out the door. Thinking that he could fool the bartender into serving him a drink, the rope messes up his hair and walks back into the bar.

The bartender, fooled by the rope’s new look, serves him a beer. But later on in the evening, the bartender seems to recognize the rope. “Hey, aren’t you that rope from earlier”
