With everyone still on a “Facebook watch,” we bring you the latest piece of news: Gideon Yu has joined the social networking company as its chief financial officer.  Yu previously served as YouTube’s CFO.

Facebook has acquired Sequoia Capital-back Parakey and everyone’s speculating what they plan to do with the new company. Om Malik suspects Facebook might be interested in providing an offline version of the social networking site.

Some weeks are “product” weeks – the companies all have something they want to release.  This has been a “money” week – crazy amounts have been thrown around.  And – although the amount of craziness and throwing involved here is debatable – real estate search engine Trulia has just joined the crowd by raising $10 million in funding.
