Around the time that I developed Rockyfied Rand had created and developed a system called YOUmoz. Youmoz is a hybrid version of the seomoz.org blog. Over the last 2 years Rand Fishkin and his blogtastic cohorts have been laying down highly informative and education posts on SEO, SEM, Internet Marketing and much more.

Rand Fishkin recently posted an interesting concept on his SEOmoz.org blog about sitemaps. For those of you keeping score at home, a sitemap is a document (typically xml) that sits on your server and helps search engine spiders crawl and index your site. Sounds great, right? Maybe… maybe not. Rand theorizes these sitemaps may actually be bad for your SEO efforts.

Today, I took a few moments to take in a bit of the current online marketing blogscape. I eventually came across a post entitled "17 most common PPC mistakes web marketers make" by Igor Mor. It was posted on SEOMoz as part of their YOUMoz program where they "claim" posts from others they deem appropriate.

Whenever there is a major SEO-related conference with all the major representatives present, you can be sure there will be some good stories and pictures popping up when the attendees get back home.

Seeing Frank’s post today reminded me it’s “Blog Day” where you share some of your favorite blogs.

I noticed a little PRWeb press release action from SEOMoz announcing their Web 2.0 Awards today.

Last night the Ask.com party named Code Red was full of interesting people and a few stormtroopers here and there.
