The FeedBurner re-design has been in beta testing for a few months now, but does it make the service better?

I’m a big fan of FeedBurner and I really like the new look and feel as it’s much cleaner and matches other Google products, however since it’s so familiar, it feels a little lacking.

YouTube Gives Users a New Homepage To Try Out

YouTube has been testing a new homepage, and is now letting users try it out if they’d like to do so. They’ve added a button on the current homepage that you can click on if you want to give it a shot.

Facebook announced a redesign of user profile pages. Some changes include a new introduction at the top of the page that tells viewers where you’re from, where you went to school, and where you work.

MySpace announced its new redesign along with a new suite of products today. These, the company tells us, will "redefine the company as a social entertainment destination for Gen Y." We’ll see.

E-Commerce site Bonanzle, which is often touted as an alternative to eBay, has acquired artisan merchandise site 1000 Markets, and changed its name to Bonanza. The combined company, which will take aim at sites like Etsy, is located at Bonanza.com, with a new design.

MySpace has introduced new profiles for users, musicians, and celebrities. The goal, was to "clean things up", so MySpace is offering a newly designed MySpace profile and a theme gallery.

Chatroulette is Down, and is About to Relaunch

Chatroulette is currently not available. The Chatroulette that we’ve all known has apparently just been an "experiment". It will be back today, however, if a message on the site is any indication.

If you go to the site, it says, "The experiment #1 is over now. Thanks for participating. Renewed and updated version of the website will be launched today."

Will a Redesign Provide MySpace With a Fresh Spark?

MySpace has a new design for the user home page, which is available today on an opt-in basis, but should be rolled out completely by August 19th.

MySpace tells WebProNews, "The new user homepage prominently displays the activity stream and simplifies the content discovery experience.  As users log-in to MySpace, there is a prompt to opt-in for an early look at the new homepage."

Microsoft announced that it has completed the roll out of its new Hotmail experience. All customers have now been upgraded.

Bing Maps Gets Interface Enhancements

Microsoft has launched an update to the Bing Maps interface today aimed at improving readability and aesthetics.

The new interface uses cool colors, which Bing says creates a more visually appealing backdrop, helping content "pop" on the map, and provides clear differentiation for pushpins, labels, and traffic overlays.

There are new labels with larger fonts for major streets. This eliminates the need for bolding, and less attractive glows while allowing users to quickly find locations in a relevant format, Bing says.

Funny or Die Launches Redesign, New Ad Opportunities

Popular comedy site Funny or Die has launched a new redesign, adding adds new content and features. The site now provides new themed photo galleries, top 10 lists, and special guest blogs. It also gives advertisers a larger presence on the homepage and more in-video opportunities across the site.
