Disick, who is the father of Kourtney Kardashian’s children, is dressed like Christian Bale’s character in “American Psycho” in the video, which may or may not be a nod to the fact that people have noticed over the years his uncanny resemblance to Patrick Bateman. Apparently, Bret Easton Ellis–who authored the book the movie is based on–wrote the original script for the video but tweeted on Monday that it was changed a bit.

Jay-Z this week announced his latest album, titled Magna Carta Holy Grail. The rap star revealed the release date of the album in a post to his Twitter account:

That isn’t quite the whole story, though.

Jay-Z has partnered with Samsung to offer the album for free to owners of Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones. A mobile app will be released in the Google Play store on June 24th. The first million Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Note II users to download the app will receive Magna Carta Holy Grail for free on July 4th. The album’s worldwide release date is July 7th.

The album will be released with no fanfare in a simple clear jewel case. Even so, Def Jam expects to sell 500,000 copies of the new album in its first week. It’s most definitely possible thanks to the strange marketing surrounding the album alongside the fact that early copies have not been leaked yet. Fans will want to buy it to hear the new tracks.

Speaking of tracks, it’s been revealed that Yeezus will feature 10 tracks. Here’s the track list for the curious:

It appears that the French release of the album will contain 4 additional untitled tracks. It’s unknown if those tracks will appear anywhere in the U.S. or if they will be offered as a special edition on iTunes.

For those not keeping track, Yeezus will be the eighth studio album from West since his debut in 2004 with The College Dropout. He has also released a new album every year since 2010′s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Yeezus continues that fine tradition.

The album may be a secret to everyone so far, but that doesn’t mean the songs aren’t. West has performed a number of songs from Yeezus at various venues, including SNL. Here’s his two performances from SNL where he performed Black Skinhead and New Slaves.

18-year-old Cameron D’Ambrosio was arrested on May 1st after officials were notified of Facebook posts containing “with disturbing verbiage,” according to police.

What did he post exactly?

“He’s telling people to shut up and in order to get some props he’ll have to go kill somebody. He says he’ll go insane and make the news,” said Police Chief Joseph Solomon at the time of the arrest. “And he said people shouldn’t cry when they see what he does because they have it coming.”

D’Ambrosio has been held without bail for over a month. The charges leveled against him could have resulted in up to 20 years in prison.

The case drew national attention, as many free speech activists argued that the arrest and subsequent incarceration amounted to a First Amendment violation.

Noted First Amendment advocates Fight for the Future launched a petition to free D’Ambrosio. That petition received over 90,000 signatures.

“The post contained no specific threat of violence against any person or group of people, and in the context of the rest of the lyrics and Cams’ rap persona, it was clearly nothing more than a metaphor and rap braggadocio – Cam wasn’t saying he would ‘outdo’ the Marathon bombing, as the media has frequently reported, he’s saying he’s going to be famous rapping, more famous than the marathon bombing. A la Biggie Smalls ‘blowing up like the World Trade.’ It may be a distasteful line, but it’s free speech and it’s protected by the Constitution,” said FFTF.

“At an initial bail hearing, the prosecution was clearly grasping at straws and brought up incidents from Cam’s past – like the fact that he allegedly bit another student during a fight when he was 11 years old, and the fact that the police were called after a fight he had with his sister several years ago.”

“There will be a bail hearing this afternoon, after which point he will probably be released, is my educated guess,” said Essex County DA spokesperson Carrie Kimball Monahan.

If that news anchor thing doesn’t work out, Mr. Williams sure has a future in gangsta rap. Or maybe his daughter could get him some work on HBO.

In a recent appearance on The United States of Hip Hop Rock confirmed that he had been in the studio with Eminem, but declined to say what his role in the new album would be.

The new album will be Eminem’s seventh studio album, and his first since 2010′s Recovery.

A spokesperson for Orellana told the AP that the artist was “in the wrong place at the wrong time” and was shot Wednesday night while “hanging out with friends. The spokesperson further stated that Orellana is “alive and well” while recovering.

Orellana’s manager, George Moore, known as rapper and producer DukeDaGod, tweeted out a request for well-wishes over his Twitter account:

DukeDaGod also posted a dour photo of friends and family crowding around the Orellana’s hospital bed. Orellana appears to have been sleeping at the time the photo was taken.

Those of us at the right age to have been listening to Kris Kross in the early 90s when hits like “Jump,” “Warm it Up,” and “I Missed the Bus” were getting steady airplay, are taking some time to reflect on the joy Kris Kross once brought to our lives. That includes memories of backwards clothing, the legendary “Make My Video” for Sega CD, and of course, dope beats and rhymes.

One of Kris Kross’ forgotten classics actually comes in the form of an ad for Sprite. After all this time, I have yet to see Sprite release a better commercial.

This week, Lil Wayne is back in the hospital after suffering another seizure. A TMZ report states that the 30-year-old was taken to Ceadars-Sinai in Los Angeles on Tuesday. He was treated for the episode and released early on Wednesday morning.

Lil Wayne’s previous trip to Cedars-Sinai was more serious, with doctors labeling him as being in critical condition. He spent nearly one week in the hospital’s intensive care unit, and his mother flew in to make medical decisions on his behalf. TMZ reported on that occasion that the rapper had to have his stomach pumped multiple times to remove drugs.
