Their latest viral campaign with that message, Dove Real Beauty Sketches, went viral earlier this month.

You may recall the video, which featured an artist comparing women’s perceptions of their physical appearance to descriptions from other people. In the end, it showed that people sell themselves short. You are most likely a lot more beautiful than you think you are. Great message. Well, men need that sort of confidence boost from time to time. Especially when it involves their balls. I don’t think that I have to explain that this excellent parody video is a little bit NFSW (some ball drawings):

For some reason, men in Florida tend to make the news for doing some of the most ridiculous things. And this account perfectly demonstrates that by simply tweeting out news stories involving any man in Florida doing something insane.

What follows is…well…is something. JC means a lot of Pastor Jim Colerick and he knows that if he wants to reach the “urban” crowd, he has to speak the language (Warning: NSFW language):

The video has flown to the front page of reddit, where the skeptics have been hard at work figuring out what’s going on here. On January 15th, 2013, two things happened. First, the YouTube account that uploaded this video was created. Second, this page was registered. It’s supposedly the official website of West Dubuque Church of Christ, led by “Pastor Jim.” In the “news” section, we learn that the church was apparently shuttered in June of 2004.

As amazing as it would be if this was simply one youth pastor’s misguided attempt to connect with the kids, we’re just looking at a very well-made comedy video. Emphasis on very well-made.

The viral ad, created for Melbourne’s Metro system, illustrates some rather idiotic ways in which a person can end their own life. It’s received numerous covers and parodies since then, but now the song has invaded a medium it was made for – video games.

If you play video games, the characters you control have surely died in a variety of ways. Some deaths may be justified, such as in Dark Souls, but others are just because we’re idiots. Did you really just incite the chickens in Zelda to brutally murder you? Perhaps you drove into the water in Grand Theft Auto knowing full well that you can’t swim.

I can personally confirm that many of these scenarios have happened to me. I’m sure they’ve happened to countless gamers around the world as well. As such, the end of the video has the perfect advice – don’t throw your controllers. Seriously, it doesn’t accomplish anything.
