A decade ago, Eric Bana filled Bruce Banner’s shoes in Ang Lee’s Hulk, which received mixed reviews. More recently, Edward Norton took a stab at becoming the Hulk, but abandoned the role soon after.

Mark Ruffalo signed on to star as Bruce Banner in last year’s blockbuster The Avengers, and it seems that the actor might be in for the long haul. Unfortunately, that may not mean that Ruffalo will star as the Hulk in an individual movie franchise.

Yesterday Ruffalo revealed through his Twitter feed that there are no current plans for a new Hulk movie, and that the next time he will appear as the character will be in the sequel to The Avengers.

Ruffalo later reemphasized that his statement doesn’t mean there will never be another Hulk movie:

Ruffalo’s tweets back up a comment made by Avengers director Joss Whedon in a recent interview with IGN. Whedon shot down rumors that the next Avengers movie would focus on the Hulk.

That is almost guaranteed at this point. The thing that is surprising though is that the love for the movie from fans and artists and designers hasn’t seemed to slow down one little bit. So when this stuff keeps coming out, and a great movie like the Avengers is still at the front of everyones mind, it can only make me smile!

Polyvore is continuing this tradition now, and has released a bunch of outfits that are styled after the Avengers. From the Hulk to Iron Man you can get a real sense of ho exactly they are styled after. The items in the outfits are all for sale individually and vary in price. The Captain America outfit for examples features a $13 top from Target and a $190 pair of shoes from John Lewis.

Superheroes on the prowl would make you feel a lot safer right? What if those superheroes were made out of paper? What if they didn’t prowl around but just sit there? Would you still feel as safe? Or would you be angry that superheroes exist in real life but only as a form that disintegrates when it rains?

A dude named Grégoire Guillemin from Rochefort-en Yveline, France has had this idea before and has made a series of superhero pictures made from what seems to be construction paper. He has 2 sets of them. This set has other pictures in it but some of them are NSFW ones so if you do decide to go see them be aware!

Portuguese artist Filipe Capra has started to answer these questions with some promo posters about some fights that some of us have wanted to see for years. I love this because I remember having a very specific conversation with someone about who would win if Superman and Goku got in a fight.

The game is an A-Typical Facebook social game. You have a certain number of energy that you can use to do a certain number of tasks. Your energy replenishes over time, or you can pay real life money to replenish and to buy in game items.

To help with their total conquest of the world by using the Avengers, they have included a movie tie-in to the game. you now have the ability to change the outfits of characters such as Captain America and Iron Man to match the characters in the movies.

Marvel: Avengers Alliance boasts 1.2 million daily users and is actually kind of fun.

They managed to create 5 things closely associated with the movie solely from items you can find at Target. They created Iron Man’s head, Captain America’s shield, Thor’s hammer, Hulk’s fists, and the Avengers logo. Check them out below:

Yes, you read that correctly — five more movies will feature the Hulk, and if all goes accordingly, Ruffalo will be there, as well.

There isn’t a whole lot of information about where the character will pop up or how, but, chances are, it will involve a few sequels to the box office smash featuring Ruffalo’s debut as Bruce Banner/Hulk. There’s also a very strong possibility that there will be at least one more standalone “Hulk” movie, assuming that Marvel doesn’t kick him to curb the way they did Eric Bana and Edward Norton. Hey, it’s obviously happend before, so don’t rule it out.

In my opinion, this superhero alphabet is here to stay. If no other reason than it has WWE superstars the Undertaker and Edge in it!

The alphabet was put together by René Mambembe fro mNantes, France, and is titled “Helvetica, My Hero.” The use of Helvetica is cool if only because it might be one of the most heavily covered fonts of all time!

This alphabet features both villains and heros form the Marvel and DC universe. What sets it apart is the use of both Street Fighter characters and WWE superstars. My personal favorites are E is for Edge just because I really wasn’t expecting it, and Z for Zangief. Also, how could I leave out W is for Wolverine?
