Other activities which are banned on LA County Beaches include; smoking, any tent or canopy over 10′ x 10′, loud or unusual music and/or noise, profane language, alcoholic beverages, intoxicated people, product sales of any kind, fires, nudity, fireworks, or model vehicle operation (such as boats, airplanes, helicopter, ect.). There are designated areas for special interest activities like, parasailing, surfing, paddle boarding, ect, but special permits must be obtained for activities outside the ordinance descriptions. Also it’s worthy to note that public bathing is not allowed on the beach.

EA Sports has decided to reduce the price of Madden 12 for Android ahead of the Super Bowl. It’s usually $4.99, but if you go the Android Market right now, you can grab it for 99 cents. That’s a pretty good deal for the Android version of one of the most popular gaming franchises in all of gaming, though some have reported bugs with it.

The game has more 5 star ratings than other ratings on the Android Market, though its average is 3.3. Of course a $4 dollar discount can be more persuasive than negative reviews.

The app is now optimized for Android tablets.

Chicken wings, whether hot, barbecued, plain, sweet and sour or any other way, are one of, if not the most convenient fast foods available. Now with Super Bowl Sunday encroaching upon us, it’s apparent that wings are at the forefront of the food category. It has been estimated, no matter how they’re prepared, there will be approximately 1.25 billion wings served at parties, bars and other social gatherings alike on the day of the game.

One wing enthusiast was quoted saying:

“They are easy to bring to parties and easy finger food to eat.”

Reportedly, Buffalo wings were created in the year 1964 at a bar in Buffalo, NY. Apparently the delicious wings attracted such celebrities as John Candy to Hilary Clinton. Traditionally, wings are served with bleu cheese and celery or ranch dressing and celery. In Buffalo, NY, Mayor Stan Makowski titled July 29th Official Chicken Wing Day back in 1977. Travel back to 1984 where Marino Games introduced “The Buffalo Style Chicken Wing Game”. in the game player could use cards to complete orders of wings and answer chicken associated trivia questions.

If you can do the math, 1.25 billion wings comes out to somewhere around 100 million pounds of chicken flappers: that’s certainly an impressive number. Traditional wings are found to be most popular among people, but boneless wings are steadily gaining popularity. Restaurants across the nation are preparing for a booming take-out business day well within the week and franchises aren’t going to slack on service either according to one manager of Buffalo Wild Wings. Even with the one day event of the Super Bowl, the wing popularity doesn’t intend to stop with March madness just around the corner, wings are ready to fly into the mouths of basketball fans too.

New York rounds out the top spot for buyer location at 19%, quickly followed by Indiana at 13%, New Jersey at 11%, Massachusetts stands with 9%, Ohio at 6% and the other 45 states combined set at 42%. The average paid parking price for the big game is a bit of a hefty one standing solidly at $156; up 16 dollars from last year.

The Super Bowl will be held at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium this year and upon receiving the news, the town erupted into action preparing for the forthcoming battle. Many of the residents of Indy will be able to direct traffic, monitor parking and even help work security. Indianapolis and Lucas Oil Stadium is home to the Colts football team, who had quite a disappointing season in 2011, losing nearly all their games and a few members of their coaching staff. Regardless of the past, Indy is ready to embrace the 2012 Super Bowl with open arms. The game is expected to bring the city thousands of tourists and visitors, which in turn is expected to give the city millions of dollars in revenue.

BREAKING: NFL will allow players to in-game tweet during Sunday’s Pro Bowl. There will be 1 designated area per sideline. Players are encouraged to tweet, post and interact with fans during the game freely.

Of course with the strict rules the NFL has with social media like Twitter and Facebook, the players will not be using their own personal phones or tablets, rather they will be using “a computer station set up on each sideline” as quoted by Rovell. With the Pro Bowl game being more of a of skill show rather than a competitive game, the NFL’s laxation on the rules is understandable.

Even with the “Freedom of Tweets”, the inability to use personal devices seems a little funny. Rovell tweeted that the stations are “unsponsored”, meaning they won’t sport any brand names.
