			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you noticed that it&#8217;s been awhile since we last heard about a company firing an employee blogger?</p>
<p>The Technorati and Indeed.com data appears to back this hypothesis up. </p>
<p>My gut is that there has been a decrease in blogger firings because a) the ensuing publicity is terrible, b) more companies have a tolerance for bloggers and c) they may be hiring bloggers instead. I don&#8217;t feel it necessarily reflects that more organizations have blog policies in place &#8211; although they should. </p>
<p>Further to this, note the two graphs below. The first charts mentions of &#8220;fired for blogging.&#8221; The second tracks job postings on Indeed that express a desire for blog-related skills.</p>
