I’ve been watching Attensa for a while. They are competing with Newsgator over RSS in the Enterprise (both companies make news aggregators that plug into Outlook, and both are working on strategies to go after big-company users because they are seeing more and more RSS users in big companies).
When Attensa coders were finishing changes to the 1.5 version, company marketing director Scott Niesen noted they felt ready to make the jump to version 2.0. That is now a free download from Attensa's website.
RSS technology continues to move forward in the enterprise world, and if Attensa has its way their Feed Server technology will provide the guiding hand toward greater RSS utility and usage.
