Taco Bell App Takes the Stress Out of Ordering Crunchwraps

  • Taco Bell has always been pretty good at using tech to promote its brand. Take the Taco Bell Twitter account, for instance, which routinely communicates with its 1.4 million followers in unique and often rather funny ways. Taco Bell has also historically been good at promoting new menu items via social media.

Extending that commitment to selling cheap burritos via tech, Taco Bell has just released a new mobile ordering app.

The app, now available for iOS and Android, allows you to place a customized order via your smartphone. You can order whenever, and when you finally get off the couch and make your way to the store you simply tap your method of pick-up (in-store or drive-thru). It’s at this point that Taco Bell will begin to make your order.

The best part about the app is that placing a go-ahead order lets you skip the line, like some sort of Cheesy Gordita Crunch royalty.

Other app features include the ability to pay via debit, credit, or Taco Bell gift card – as well as the ability to save past orders.

So, if you’re a person who gets stressed out while ordering at Taco Bell, this app is for you.

Oh, and speaking of the aforementioned prolific social media account …

It’s gone dark to promote the new app.

    It’s not really gone, however.
