  • Are you ready for the Super Bowl? How about the Super Bowl commercials? For many people, the commercials are just as entertaining or sometimes even more entertaining than the actual game.

Companies shell out millions of dollars to make sure their commercials are aired during the Super Bowl because they know millions of people will see them. These companies also know that if they are going to create a new commercial for the Super Bowl they better make it good or else it won’t be appreciated.

This year there are several commercials that seem promising and are likely to deliver some good laughs. If you plan on watching the Super Bowl you may want to keep an eye out for the Soda Stream commercial which will star Scarlett Johansson and the Anheuser-Busch commercial which will feature an adorable puppy.

Celebrities are always a great way to gain attention with Super Bowl ads and this year celebs like John Stamos, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Steven Colbert will be starring in a few. Several companies have already released their Super Bowl ads or ad teasers, but some like Chrysler and Coca-Cola are planning to keep their a secret until game day, hoping the suspense will peak the interest of more viewers.

“The surprise factor doesn’t matter as it once did,” Justin Osbourne, the general manager of brand and marketing communications at Volkswagen of America, said. “Our goals are about how many total views we can get. To assume that that is going to happen within forty-eight hours is cutting yourself pretty short.”

Do you enjoy watching the commercials during the Super Bowl and do you like the teasers or would you rather be surprised on game day?
