For many girls and women, sundresses are the signature attire of spring and a staple in the wardrobe. Sundresses are cute alone but there are a several ways you can accessorize to make them even cuter and to let your personality show.
The hot look this spring and summer is denim jackets and summer dresses. If the weather is warming up where you live but there is still a chill in the air, a denim jacket can be both stylish and functional for you. Roll your sleeves up for another version of the look. When the hot weather finally comes to stay, choose a denim vest instead. Of course, if you don’t have a denim jacket a cardigan or sweater will work instead.
Scarves have come back in style over the last couple of years and now infinity scarves seem to be around the necks of everyone. Just because it’s getting warm doesn’t mean you can’t accessorize your sundress with a scarf. Choose one that is made of light-weight fabric such as chiffon. If you are wearing a solid colored sundress choose a scarf with a fun spring print such as a floral or paisley design. If you are wearing a printed dress choose a solid colored scarf that brings out the colors in the dress and reminds you of spring.
Jewelry is an easy way to accessorize a dress and make a statement, but this spring bigger is better. Sundresses with lower necklines look great with big necklaces with bright, summer colors. Bubble bead necklaces make a bold statement but are still casual enough to be worn with sundresses. There are hundreds of designs to choose from and you can find them in almost any clothing or accessory store. They are also inexpensive and versatile.
