StorageTek And Golfers Drive Funds For Breast Cancer Research

PGA and LPGA professionals helped the StorageTek Foundation raise $50,000 for the Denver Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Spring 2005 StorageTek Chairman’s Cup Golf Tournament, which takes place Monday, May 23, through Wednesday, May 25, at the Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock pairs StorageTek customers with company executives and nine professional golfers: Paul Azinger, Bruce Fleisher, Juli Inkster, Hilary Lunke, Mark Lye, Scott McCarron, Rocco Mediate and Stan Utley.

“As a cancer survivor, I understand first-hand how important organizations such as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation are,” said Mr. Azinger.

Since customer teams do not pay to attend or play in the tournament, StorageTek offers them the opportunity to help support a good cause through a donation.

StorageTek and its customers’ donations will help the Denver Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation carry out its mission of eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
