Sofia Vergara will hit the big screen this summer in a hilarious looking girl power-type film.

Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon aren't the first two actresses I'd pair together for a comedy, but it really seems to work here!

Sofia Vergara plays the wife of a drug boss who has apparently wronged a bigger drug boss.

Reese Witherspoon is a by-the-book cop who lives and breathes police work.

Witherspoon is assigned to transport and protect Sofia Veragara's character as she is taken to testify against the bigger drug boss.

Hilarity and fiasco ensue:

Hot Pursuit was scripted by David Feeney and John Quaintance. They are the dynamic duo known for their knee-slapping TV writing on shows like Ben and Kate, According to Jim, 2 Broke Girls, and Joey.

Are guys ready for this???!!!haha! @reesewitherspoon

Reese Witherspoon explained to People what it is like to be Sofia Vergara's friend. She said, "Literally every person stares at [Sofia]. Men fall on the floor; women drop their purses. It's like a commercial! Her hair is in slow motion."

In good company

Apparently it's even harder to work with Sofia Vergara.

The two of them had a hard time shooting some scenes together "because we were laughing so hard," they said.

Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon's new movie looks so great. I would say it looks awesome for a girl's night out, but it seems like men could appreciate it as well.

Apparently even Reese Witherspoon's kids, Ava, 15, and Deacon, 11, liked it.

"It's the ultimate compliment when your teenager likes it," Reese said.

What do you think about the trailer for Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon's new movie? I have to admit, I am not into chick flicks all that much, but I'm excited.
