It apparently wasn't meant to be.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and fiance 38-year-old businessman Nick Loeb have officially called off their engagement. Not wanting to let the press have the first word concerning the split, Vergara took to her personal WhoSay account on Friday to announce the news.
"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have [decided] to be apart. We have [been] having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together because of my work and now his, it's been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore."
The couple had been dating for four years. They split up one time before back in 2012, however, they got back together and announced their plans to marry just two months later.
