  1. I use google analytics and Hit box.  Wow, what a major difference.  Of course the google stuff is free and that is good  but if you can afford it go for better and more data.

  3. There are definitly different levels to analytics programs, everything from google analytics to programs that analyze the long tail traffic for your website.  As a content heavy site we use omniture because it offers the best use of usability and stats.

  8. Great article, but I think ClickTracks can be a little too slow for certain queries. Surprisingly, Google Analytics and other web-hosted applications seem faster at processing historical data.

  9. Its so difficult to break SEO down into such small articles as its such a vast subject, but there’s definitely lots for newcomers to learn here.

    Nice article Brian, however I don’t know if you are aware but there are some issues viewing it at the moment. Tried it in two browsers but the text at the top overlaps.
