  1. I avoid jave where possible, although I am sure it wont be too long before search engines can read and index the swf files

  2. how about a web site with an inbound link that are using javascript, will it’s PageRank affected or increase?

    I usually place a link to a site map page in the <noscript> tag. If one of my clients insists on using a JavaScript-type navigation without an alternative means of navigation the site, I submit the site map page to the search engines instead of the home page.

    My comment:

    This is known as cloaking and google will ban that site.
