Search Marketing Standard enters the turbulent world of print media publishing with a quarterly magazine debuting this summer.

Bathroom reading won’t be the same for search engine marketers once the first issue of Search Marketing Standard magazine starts to hit subscriber mailboxes this year. The inaugural issue has been scheduled to leave the presses this summer, its New York-based publisher MordComm said in a statement.

Their first issue will hold about 40 pages, and would be the first magazine devoted solely to search marketing. Publisher Boris Mordkovich commented that, “The goal of the magazine is to bring all of the information that’s floating out there to end-users that need it to improve their advertising campaigns in a simple yet effective way.”

That information focuses on those people who live in the world where Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing, among many others, occupies their professional time and expertise. Mordkovich listed the magazine’s treatment in their statement:

“Search Marketing Standard” will cover pay per click advertising, search engine optimization, web analytics, click fraud, local and contextual search, and other search-related topics. Each publication will feature articles and advice from leading experts in the field, interviews with the who’s-who of the industry, reviews of the most popular tools and services, latest news and trends, and much more.

Users in the United States can pick up a free one-year subscription by visiting the magazine’s website and signing up. That offer will run until February 28th, 2006.
