Congratulations are in order for Scarlett Johansson! The “Under the Skin” and “Avengers” actress, 28, is engaged to boyfriend Romain Dauriac, a French journalist. Dating for around 10 months, the couple first stepped out together in November 2012. It’s been a “whirlwind romance,” one insider tells of the relationship.

Rumors began swirling around the actress at the 2012 Venice International Film Festival when ScarJo stepped out in a beautiful low-cut black dress and a very noticeable accessory on her left hand.

That wasn’t the first time she was spotted with a new rock, though. When she was spotted in February with sizeable bling on her left hand, her rep. said, “She is absolutely not engaged.”

Johansson, who’s other exes include Sean Penn and ex-husband Ryan Reynolds (Reynolds remarried last year; he and his Green Lantern costar Blake Lively tied the knot in a secret ceremony in South Carolina on Sept. 9.) told Elle UK in January that she wasn’t entirely sure she wanted to tie the knot again.

“I never think about marriage,” she confessed. “Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, ‘Would I get married again?’ It’s really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now.”
“I’m not having kids any time soon,” she continued. “I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot and, like I said, [marriage is] not important to me…To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married.”
