Sarah Silverman has never been known for humor that is suitable for children, or anyone that is not used to her raunchy humor, really.

In case you need to be reminded of just how inappropriate Sarah Silverman can be, just watch this recent video that she did.

Recently, a TV columnist had some harsh words to say about the female comedy star, saying that she is too raunchy and dirty, a type of humor that has helped make her famous.

Silverman is undoubtedly one of the dirtiest female comediennes around, and the issue has been addressed throughout her career.

Fans would think that most people would be aware of her brand of humor by now, and not criticized for it anymore, but perhaps one critic simply was not aware.

She has been included in several of the Comedy Central Roasts, a program which pretty much prides itself on the amount of inappropriate jokes that are delivered throughout the hour.

Sarah Silverman has filmed several comedy specials, and also had her own show on Comedy Central for a brief time, and has always been known for the type of humor that most people might not approve of.

She also recently made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show in order to return his stuff to him in a very awkward fashion. The couple dated for several years, but broke up in 2009.

Sarah Silverman’s latest special is called We Are Miracles, and Brian Lowry from Variety did not have the nicest things to say about Silverman, and her humor.

Lowry is harsh and critical of her and says that “She pushes past the edge in a way that blunts her appeal and limited herself by appearing determined to prove she can be as dirty and disastrous as the boys.” She has been doing that for her entire career with some of her fans loving it, where has he been?

Also, why she should have to be “as dirty as the boys?” Women can be dirty and inappropriate too, right? Mary Elizabeth Williams of Salon.com weighs in on the topic by saying “Lowry’s discomfort perpetuates the absurd belief that being dirty or raunchy or profane or just plain funny are inherently masculine qualities.”

Sarah Silverman has yet to respond to the scathing review, but there is no doubt that she has handled this type of criticism before, and will be able to do it again. The 42-year-old comic has made a habit of stretching her limits for a long time now, and does not look to discontinue that anytime soon.

Sarah has always been a raunchy jokester. She is equal opportunity when it comes to trashing Jews, Gays, Girls, Men, you name it. Still I love her extreme beauty and loved her show. Wish it was back. Greatest episode was when she competed in a “baby” show and dressed up as a stunning little girl. Then looked into the camera and said “Am I pretty enough for you Daddy?”. Fell off the couch.

I would marry her in a heartbeat. Hey SS, look me up.
